The ACC-funded Integrated Services for Sensitive Claims (ISSC) contract is a pivotal initiative designed to support survivors of sexual assault and sexual violence. This service aims to deliver compassionate and comprehensive care, involving a team of health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, social workers, and cultural advisors, to address the unique needs of each survivor.
Accessibility is a crucial focus of the ISSC service, allowing individuals to initiate contact through self-referral or recommendations from a GP or ACC. We endeavour to match clients with health providers within their geographic region to facilitate more accessible access to the support they need.
Each support plan is bespoke, crafted with direct input from the individual to ensure it meets their specific needs. Our commitment lies in achieving positive outcomes and providing a service centred around the client's well-being. This personalized approach underscores our dedication to empowering survivors through tailored support and understanding.
